Services
Cornerstone Handyman is a solo, owner-operated handyman service providing residential home maintenance, minor repairs, and installation services. All work is performed by the business owner.
Services may include, but are not limited to:
- Minor home repairs and maintenance
- Fixture and hardware installation
- Light plumbing work (such as faucet replacement, toilet adjustments, and minor leaks)
- Light electrical work (such as replacing light fixtures, switches, outlets, and ceiling fans)
- General household improvements
Cornerstone Handyman does not perform electrical or plumbing work that requires a state or local license. Any work requiring a licensed electrician, licensed plumber, or other specialized trade professional is outside the scope of services offered and will not be accepted.
All services are subject to availability and acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue any project that falls outside the scope of permitted handyman work.
Estimates and Pricing
All estimates provided are based on the information available at the time and may change if the scope of work changes. Pricing may be hourly or project-based and will be communicated prior to beginning work.
Additional work requested after a project has begun may result in additional charges. Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Scheduling and Cancellations
Appointments are scheduled based on availability. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee.
Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Provide accurate information regarding the requested services
- Ensure safe and reasonable access to the work area
- Secure pets and remove fragile or valuable items from the work area
Cornerstone Handyman is not responsible for delays or issues caused by unsafe conditions, lack of access, or inaccurate information provided by the client.
Warranty and Workmanship
We strive to provide high-quality workmanship. Any concerns regarding completed work must be reported within a reasonable timeframe.
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or alterations by others
- Materials supplied by the client
- Pre-existing issues not disclosed prior to service
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, Cornerstone Handyman shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Website or services.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the services giving rise to the claim.
