Built on Trust, Rooted in Community
A Frisco handyman who treats every home project like it’s my own.

About Me
My name is Mike Ingles, and Frisco has been home to my wife, our four amazing kids, our family dog, and me for over 20 years. We’ve built our lives here, and I truly cherish being part of this community.
After more than three decades in the corporate world, I faced an unexpected layoff. While that season brought challenges, it also opened a door for me to follow a new calling—one that combined my love for working with my hands, serving others, and leaning on my faith. That’s how Cornerstone Handyworks was born.
For years, I’ve been the go-to handyman for family and friends, tackling home repairs and small projects with care and attention to detail. I find real joy in helping others and making their homes a little brighter, safer, and more comfortable. My Christian faith guides everything I do, reminding me that every project is an opportunity to serve with honesty, integrity, and excellence.
Whether it’s a simple fix, or a bigger project, I approach each job as if I were working on my own home. I’m grateful for the chance to use the skills God has given me to bless others in this wonderful community.
Thank you for stopping by—I look forward to helping your home get the care it deserves.
—Mike
Frequently Asked Questions?
Quick answers to the questions homeowners ask most.
What type of work can a handyman legally provide in Texas?
In Texas, a handyman can legally handle most general home repair, maintenance, and improvement tasks that don’t require a state-issued trade license. This includes jobs like painting, drywall repair, furniture assembly, pressure washing, installing light fixtures or ceiling fans (as long as no new wiring is required), replacing faucets, minor carpentry, hanging doors, or tackling honey-do lists.
However, certain trades are regulated and require a licensed professional. For example, electrical work that involves running new wiring, major plumbing work (like installing water heaters or sewer lines), HVAC installation/repair, and large-scale construction projects must be done by licensed contractors.
As a handyman, I focus on the wide range of repair and improvement services that fall within the legal scope, and when a licensed pro is needed, I’ll always let you know and point you in the right direction.
What types of jobs do you handle?
I specialize in small to mid-size home repair and improvement projects. This includes things like fixing leaky faucets, installing ceiling fans, repairing drywall, hanging shelves or pictures, assembling furniture, and tackling those honey-do lists that never seem to end. If it’s something larger, I’ll be honest and help point you in the right direction.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes! I provide free, no-obligation estimates. You can contact me through the website or give me a call, and I’ll discuss your project details. For most small jobs, I can give you a price up front. For bigger projects, I may need to visit your home to give an accurate estimate.
Are you insured?
Yes, I carry liability insurance to protect both you and your home. I believe peace of mind is just as important as quality work.
How do I schedule a service?
Scheduling is easy! You can reach out by phone, fill out the contact form on the website, or email me directly. I’ll work with you to find a time that fits your schedule.
What areas do you service?
I proudly serve Frisco, Texas, and nearby communities such as McKinney, Allen, Little Elm, Prosper, and Celina
What if I have a project that’s not listed on your site?
No problem at all—just ask! If it’s something I can handle, I’ll let you know. If it’s outside my expertise, I’ll be honest and, if possible, recommend a trusted professional who can help.
